The International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR 2020, which celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, closed its doors this Sunday with an excellent balance of results. A special edition that has once again surpassed all parameters in terms of the number of companies, countries and regions and professionals from the global tourism industry. This is revealed by the 5.16% growth in professional participation, reaching the figure of 150,000 participants, with a 6.4% increase in international visitors from 140 countries.
One of the companies that once again did not want to miss this important tourist event was the Galera Group which, represented by its manager José Galera, showed its commitment to the region through the Independent Association of Traders. During the event, the firm Galera had the opportunity to inform the authorities and other businessmen there displaced the many advances that have taken place in the firm in recent years and offer some hints of the new proposals that are about to see the light, as the Café Casino of San Vicente del Raspeig with more than 400 meters.
The good health of the tourism sector both in Spain and internationally, as shown by the historical records of its indicators in 2019, has had its impact on this powerful FITUR 2020. Proof of this has been the great offer gathered at this edition, which reaches its best historical figures: 255,000 visitors, 918, exhibitors, 11,040 companies, 165 countries and regions, and an international participation of 56%. All of this gathered over 69,697.5 net m2 of exhibition space and the occupation of 10 pavilions at Feria de Madrid. For all these reasons, the GALERA GROUP understood that it was essential to bring its wide range of leisure, gastronomy and entertainment to Madrid.
