GALERA Group Jovempa Gold Badge at the 2019 Inspirational Business Awards

The Assembly Hall of the IVAM CADA in Alcoy became last Thursday, the venue for the fourth edition of the Jovempa Inspirational Companies Awards ceremony. The event brought together more than 200 people, many of whom had previously shared a Business Gastronomic Event in which they could listen to the business experience of two important and consolidated entrepreneurs in the area.

The awards recognised six companies from the province that form part of the different county associations that are members of the Federation and that have stood out for their involvement with the association. Also for their trajectory and for becoming a source of inspiration for the rest of the young companies in the province. This is the first provincial meeting of the year 2020 of the Jovempa Federation, which has chosen a region with a great industrial and business tradition for its celebration.

The awards were presented by the presidents of each of the county associations, together with David Santiago, president of Jovempa Federation. The Mayor of Alcoy, Toni Francés and the Regional Secretary for Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Consumer Affairs, Rebeca Torró, also took part in the event.

During the Gala, Jovempa also took the opportunity to distinguish the associates from all over the province who have been in the association for more than 5 years with the silver badge or more than 10 years with the gold badge. The only one of the award winners representing the region of the Marina Baja was the GALERA GROUP, in the figure of its manager José Galera, who received the award that rewards the work of a whole family saga for more than 36 years, forming part of and supporting young entrepreneurship in the region for more than 20 years, first through Jeturbe and later in Jovempa Marina Baja.

The awards gala was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Generalitat Valenciana through its Department of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labour, the City Council of Alcoy, the IVAM Centre d'Artd'Alcoi and the company Móvil Begar.
